Today we will join others around the world to remember the Holocaust — Yom HaShoah.

We will Never Forget.
We remember by watching documentaries of the time and teaching our children about our ancestors in recent history. The Holocaust was only about 70 years ago!

Can you bear to remember?

Don't let the memories of the events die out with the last of the survivors!

Jennifer in MamaLand May 1, 2011 5:59 PM: Just wanted to mention (and I had forgotten this, too!), in a weird "didn't you get the memo?" moment, at the instruction of the Israeli rabbinate, Jews around the world are mostly observing Yom Hashoah on Monday. This is done to avoid Shabbat desecration by holding ceremonies on Saturday evening that would need setup before sunset. Ditto for Yom HaZikaron and Yom HaAtzmaut next week or the week after (I forget which).
Just thought I'd mention it!

Simple Faith

The entire Word of YHWH, both “Old” and “Renewed” Covenants, is the instruction of a loving and gracious Father to His children. It is the perfect and unchanging law that gives us liberty (Ps. 119:44-45; James 2:24-26). Nothing will pass from the whole word of YHWH, until everything that will happen, has happened. (Matt 5:17-20). YHWH’s people delight in His instruction (Ps. 1:2). The Torah was not given for salvation. It is the loving instruction of how a redeemed people should live. Yeshua kept His Fathers commandments and lived in His love. We are instructed to walk as He walked (1 Jn. 2:3-6). We are to obey YHWH’s commandments and to hold to the testimony of Yeshua (Rev. 12:17).
